Beef Casserole
Description
Warm up with this rich flavoursome beef casserole.
Ingredients:
400g Lean beef steak (Rump)
250g Mixed frozen vegetables
1-2 Stock cubes, Crumbled
250ml Tomato or Vegetable juice, Hot
2 Tbsp parsley, Chopped
Method
- Beat the steak with a mallet until it is an even thickness. Pierce the steak a few times with a fork and cut the steak into 2.5cm cubes.
- Place the cubed meat into the 2.25 litre Starmaid Casserole cooker. Add the frozen vegetables, stock cube and juice.
- Cover and cook on Medium High (70-80%) for 10 minutes. Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve over mashed potatoes.
